Day 3 The Mag!c King&om

The day started the same as every other here in Florida…..HOT and STICKY!!  But the girls excitement to actually see the mouse’s house and the princesses was not to be squashed by anything.

First stop, the magic carpet ride of Al*ddin.

 

 

 

 

 

Then off to the jungle cruise where Samie got to pilot the boat. 

Next stop, the pirates!  Sierra was NOT fond of this ride and made her opinion known to everyone!  Samie and I then rode Spla$h Mountain while Tim rode Th*nder Mountain with her.  After lunch and the Coun!ry Be*r Jamb*ree we sat down to get a good view of the parade.  While we waited Tim and the girls tried their hand at rope tricks.

And then the skies opened up and we ran for cover.  Straight into the H*unted M*nsion.  What better time than when the wind is howling and lightening booming?  Sydney LOVED it!  Sierra…. NO!  Sydney was petting the ghost that hitched a ride in our car!  Unfortunately the rains were not letting up and many rides were closed.  So we wandered over to T**ntown to visit the mouse’s house.

  That evening we had dinner at the Crys&al P*lace and again met some friends.  Even Daddy got to meet his favorite!!

   E*yore loved Samie’s Sil!y B*ndz and made off with one!

 

 

 

 

 

Not that she would miss one out of the 4 or 5 dozen she has!!  Then she had a run in with T!gger!!

 

 

 

 

 

It was then time for the parade and fireworks!  D!sney does know how to put on a party!!

Wonderful Mouse World Day 2

Anim&l King%om look out, we’re coming!!  Today we rose bright and early…….and some of us put our sass on before breakfast! 

Samie and Tim rode the Expedition Ever&st ride before we headed to breakfast with the mouse and his friends.  They loved it.  We then headed to breakfast and all the girls were so excited to see their friends.

 

  We had a great time and I will just post some pics instead of boring you will explanations.  Cause I know you don’t come here for my writing skills!

That evening we met up with another family who recently brought home their 3 yo daughter from China.  We met Liya of Journey To Our Princess and her Mommy and brothers.

We met at the T-R#x restaurant at Downtown Di%ney.  So cool, they have huge animatronic dinosaurs.  Sierra did not like this, but the other girls loved it.  A little loud, but fun.

 The kids had fun digging for bones while we waited for our table.

Another night drew to a close on the Savannah and we fell into bed exhausted but happy.

The Wonderful World of Di%ney

We left for the world of the mouse on Monday and were not due at our hotel until Tuesday.  Good thing…… Tim got a 24 hr bug and we must have stopped at least 10 times before we finally stopped for the night about 1 1/2 hrs outside of Orlando.  I was really wondering if we were even going to make it to a park that first day when I heard him hugging the porcelain god that night.  But he was a true trooper and was feeling a little better that morning.

So we made it to our hotel Tuesday morning.  We had decided to stay right on the mouse property when we saw they were offering 40% off on their deluxe villas for the summer.  We are so glad we made that decision!!  I don’t care what anyone says, staying right in the middle of it all with only a short Di%ney bus trip to your hotel…… priceless, especially when you have small children!  Not to mention the perks you get and the hotel was MARVELOUS!!

These were the looks on the girl’s faces as we entered the mouse world.

     

We checked our bags at the hotel and we were off to discover Ep%ot or as Sydney calls it… Epacot!

 

OH, did I forget to mention that the heat and humidity were OPPRESSIVE!!  YEP, now I remember why I hated living in Florida.  The minute we walked out of the hotel it hit you like a brick wall.  The girls found a way to beat the heat…  all except Sierra who wanted nothing to do with it.

 Mulan was nice enough to stop by on her way to get out of the heat for a minute.  And the girls were tickled!

This was in Norway, my Grandfather came from Norway as a young man and I still have relatives there.

We did not spend much time discovering Epacot, with the heat, Tim still not 100% and this…….we felt it best to return to our comfy one bedroom villa, with 2 baths, full kitchen, roll out sofa and chair beds, and call it a night.  We aint no dummies!

We need a vacation!

What’s that you say??  We just got home from one??  Yeah….. that would be why we NEED a vacation!  We just got in today and are exhausted.  I will work on some posts tomorrow.  But we did have a GREAT TIME!

Guess who we met……

Miss Ella!

 I met Miss Ella’s mom, Donna, on-line when we were both paper chasing (adoption talk) for our girls.  Yesterday we headed to the beach to finally meet the entire family.  We had so much fun.

Things 1 and 2 love the ocean.

Thing 3…… not so much.  She preferred to sit and play in the sand.

Donna and I made a vow that we would post NO bathing suit pics of each other on our blogs.  And I kept this vow…… pretty much.  But I don’t think anyone will be able to tell it is her.

Thank you Donna, Chris, Jack, Max and Miss Ella for a great day!  You guys are the best and we hope we can all get together again soon.  Maybe we can make an annual get together somewhere.  Or maybe we need to do an annual MOMMY get together!  That sounds awesome!

Well, we are heading to see the mouse soon.  The girls are so excited and I am dreading this packing.  There will be no more posts until we get to Di*ney.  Mama is going to be busy!
